The Glow Up Hack 🌟
Time to feel attractive / smart/ worthy enough (Ep. 16)

THE CULPRIT…
Not Feeling Attractive/Worthy/Smart] Enough 😔
Picture this - you’re at an event and the possibilities are endless. There’s a cutie in the corner with a killer smile, a potential investor for your business that you spot, and an old acquaintance that you recognize. But all you can think is that cutie is out of your league, the investor won’t care about your business, and that acquaintance will never remember who you are. No glances exchanged, no deals closed, no reconnections sparked - simply because you didn't feel attractive, smart, worthy [insert anything] enough. #relatable | ![]() not enough face |
The Ugly Truth
In the labyrinth of human psychology, “attractiveness” (not just romantic) and confidence share an intricate dance. Self-doubt can have profound effects on how others perceive us, often manifesting in our body language, tone of voice, and overall demeanour. From a psychological standpoint, self-doubt triggers feelings of insecurity and inadequacy, which can be detected by those around us through subtle cues such as lack of eye contact, nervous fidgeting, or hesitant speech patterns. These signals can inadvertently communicate to others that we are unsure of ourselves, leading them to question our competence, reliability and ‘attractiveness’.

THE SHIFT…
Owning Your Worth 🌟
It's time to rewrite the narrative and embrace your worthiness. Instead of hiding in the shadows, step into the spotlight with confidence and conviction. Be direct in your interactions, ask that person out on a date, assertively say no when something doesn't serve you, and watch as the world begins to see you in a whole new light (spoiler alert, it’s a lot more appealing). You deserve to shine brightly, and the world is waiting to bask in your light. | ![]() slayyy face |
Unlocking Your Inner Radiance Confidence 🌟
Studies in psychology have shown that individuals who exude confidence are often perceived as more attractive and trustworthy by their peers. When we feel confident, our body language becomes more open and expansive, signaling to others that we are secure in ourselves and our abilities. This, in turn, fosters trust and admiration from those around us. Moreover, confidence is contagious; when we project confidence, we inspire confidence in others, creating a positive feedback loop of mutual respect and admiration.

THE TOOLS…
See What Sticks
1 // Power Poses
YouTube search this and enjoy the silly but impactful science of this method. Research in social psychology has shown that adopting "power poses" can significantly boost feelings of confidence and self-assurance. These poses, which involve open, expansive body language, signal to your brain that you are powerful and in control. Try standing tall with your shoulders back and your chest open, or assume the "Wonder Woman" pose with your hands on your hips.
2 // Maintain Eye Contact, Extra with the Left Eye
Making eye contact with others conveys confidence and interest. It shows that you are engaged in the conversation and present in the moment, which is a hella confident power play. Also, by looking into someone's left eye, we trigger a natural bonding response in our brains, which can be used to build connections in various aspects of life, whether it's in personal relationships or professional interactions - secret hack revealed!
3 // Dress to Impress
Wearing clothes that make you feel confident and comfortable can significantly impact how you carry yourself and how others perceive you. Choose outfits that highlight your best features and make you feel confident. This doesn’t necessarily mean a 3 piece suit, just something that makes you feel comfortable to be who you are.
